Angry Facebook picture - June 12th 2010, 09:39 PM

My friend on facebook put a really unflattering picture of me on facebook. I mean it's really really awful. The picture was taken on the day where I had just been injured the night before and I was feeling horrible and I look chubby in the picture. I untagged myself but still everyone who the girl knows can still see the picture. I asked her to crop me out and she won't. It would not harm the picture in any way to crop it at all.
I tried reporting it but they won't because it is not against the rules.
I really really need this picture removed. It looks really really horrible and I don't want a picture of me like that on Facebook.
Is there any way I can get the picture removed?

If Facebook won't remove it, then the only thing you can do is plead with your friend, as far as I know.

Tell your friend its really affecting your confidence and if she was a real friend she would take it off. If this doesn't work you could always take a dodgy photo of her and then tell her you'll take it down if she does?

Unfortunately facebook won't remove a picture just because it's 'unflattering' but i think the rules should be changed because tbh this is an issue for many. I've got soo many pictures of myself on facebook added without my consent by 'friends' and it really annoys me but at the end of the day there's nothing i can really do about it apart from block my 'tagged pictures' to my friends.

Take a picture of her when she looks bad and upload it.

Facebook rules should really be changed. Allowing people to put pictures of you on the internet even when you're completely against it seems a little off =/

The only way would be to talk to your friend. If she really is a friend, she should be able to understand if you explain to her that having the picture there is only upsetting you.

Thanks for the answers everyone!
I begged her to take the picture down and she finally did.
