Anyone ever play Baldur's Gate? What's it like?

I've played it a bit but I get bored with games easily. My Dad's a huge fan of it though and likes it

If you want to just try it out then maybe go to a second hand game shop and get it, I assume it'll be cheapish now.

After looking at the screenshots, I'm not sure if I'm quite that hardcore.

It's honestly one of the best games ever made. Spent so freaking many hours on that game, and it was all worth it. Recommend it 110%

It is older, so you have to be ready for 2D graphics and missing out on a lot of the luxuries of modern games, but if you can deal with that, it is well worth it.

One of the best RPGs ever created. It's $9.99 on gog.com with a dozen or so extra content (manuals, soundtrack etc.). Just buy it, best $10 you'll ever spend lol
