Monitors - February 16th 2011, 02:02 AM

Can anyone recommend a monitor? I'm looking for a 23" (minimum) HD monitor for under $250 (155). I'll mostly be playing games and watching videos (maybe some Blu-Rays if I buy them).

300 dollars for a monitor? Damn!

Edit: After looking at it, I realized that I have the same monitor! Lmao. It works great and you save 100 bucks or so compared to your limit of 300 dollars.

I'd recommend this one:

I own two of them personally, and also my workplace has sold or used over 100 LCDs by Acer without any problems whatsoever. Their screens are great quality.

As for ASUS, their quality control stinks, and they've tried to avoid honoring their warranty obligations several times. I am currently dealing with a bunch of boards from them which all have the same defect and they refuse to accept RMA despite they are under warranty. They keep coming up with excuse after excuse. Run like the wind from them.

I'm running dual acer screens. They are a great brand mind you they are 22'' and go for about $170-200 Canadian brand new. For that price you can't go wrong.
