BEST BUY IS HORRIBLE ONLINE

I bought an Ebook reader from best buy. A refurbished one. for 89.99... so i can read 100's of pdf books i got for free online on my bed.

6 days later I was told it is out of stock.... Even though I bought it when there was 25 in stock. Right after I purchased it... the website said there is 24 left.

this is really pissing me off. And the dumb part is that the inventory level is the onlines store's inventory count... not the brick and motar store's

UGH!!! Amazon is sooo much better.

Bestbuy's automated email states that it will send me a refurbished one when they have them in stock.. Oh god... its probaly not gunna happen.
HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! ...unless the products spoilage rate is soo high

I wish i can do that...

But the non-wifi version is discontinued i think. The wifi version cost 60 dollars more. .... 70% more...!

I was considering getting a tablet but the Ipad is over priced... Andriods tablets are not mature enough(google is coming up with a tablet friendly update on their os)

I wanted that ebook reader because its really cheap and the battery life is huge 2 weeks. and its ultra light

Not really. I have an Ipod touch. I use it to surf the web all the time. I spend hours reading with it online. I use it every single day. I had it for 2 years. I love reading with it on my bed... i use it when i am tired, when i wake up, right before i sleep(i actually sleep with it all the time lol).

I know what u mean its a waste of money. its a bit of a toy. I know laptops and desktops are alot better (bang per dollar)


But i would love to stream free hollywood movies on my bed. Read books, read the websites.. ect... I have alot of cash. Im spending a chunk on graduate school(part time MBA). And it would be nice to read some of the required reading on my bed because I work full time and im starting my masters program on september.

It sucks that your shopping experience at Bestbuy wasn't to your liking.

I'm not a big fan of BestBuy myself (haven't shopped online) and I would have to agree that amazon has better service. I've never had a problem with them yet.

Just learn from your mistakes. I bought a Nintendo 64 and 2 games on Amazon...originally pretty cheap, but I didn't realize that I didn't have enough money in my bank account to buy it so I got charged a 30 dollar overcharge for each product I bought. 3 products...90 dollars of overcharge fee. I spent over 200 dollars just to buy a used Nintendo 64 and Zelda. Shit happens, and we learn from them. Lol.

My brother works at best buy. He says that their online has some bugs in the server occasionally (all websites do). But he says your best bet would be amazon.
