Broken ipod? - February 27th 2011, 10:42 AM

Well basically, my ipod won't turn on at all. I've tried doing a reset, and I've also tried plugging in the charger and none of it seems to work. My ipod just won't turn on. Any ideas on what I could do, or is it just broken?

Thanks in advance

Pavan x

You could try taking it to the nearest Apple store and asking them if they know what is wrong with it, they could also fix it for you although I've heard they are pretty expensive when it comes to those things.

If your warranty hasn't yet expired, they may actually replace it for you if you explain that you didn't actually cause the defect. It happened to my sister's iPod nano once but since she'd had it for years, we didn't bother taking it in. I would definitely reccomend taking it into the nearest Apple Store though. Apple's pretty generous with repairs and replacements and while I can't guarantee that they would replace it for free, it is definitely worth taking it in.

Good luck. I hope it works out!
