The Sims 2 help! - March 7th 2011, 09:10 PM

Okay, so last week I finally ordered the expansion packs for TS2. But I have already played to the point of unrecognizance since I got the game back in August. Well, now I want to restore it back to the factory defaults.

By that, I mean do something to make the game look and act like it did when I first opened it, the neighborhood exactly the way it left the factory, all their moods and ambition are precisely the same.

Basically, a brand new game except with the people I have now. It took me ages to figure out how to make a family (with offsprings and all) so I really don't want to do that again!

I told you this on msn, but in case anyone else is wondering:

Go to C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\The Sims 2\TSData\Res\UserData\Neighborhoods and find the neighborhood file you want (N001, N002, N003... etc) and copy that, then go to C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Neighborhoods and Paste it.

Load your game, then you'll have fresh neighborhoods.
