Facebook Stalking

How do you feel about it?
I have been stalked before by this creepy 17 year old who kept messaging me about how "sexy" I look in my picture and he kept begging me accept his friend request, I was like douchebag please, don't mess with me.
What are you experiences?

I don't care what anyone says. If you're on Facebook more than 5 minutes a day, you "Facebook stalk." I've had those people that friend request me every time I deny them, usually I just block them so I no longer exist on Facebook to them. I've also had those kids that assume because you accepted their friend request it means you're officially best friends and they won't stop creepin' on your shit.

I've "Facebook stalked" people that I know, like my best friends or my future roommate. It wasn't anything like refreshing the page every two seconds but I would go through a lot of the stuff on their profile and comment/like.

I Facebook stalk people all the time, usually just to amuse myself. But I keep it to people who Im actually friends with. I look at pictures, comment on them sometimes, and write random things on the walls (or post links to hilarious pointless things)

I wouldn't say I 'stalk' people particularly. I sometimes see new pictures people have put up but only if it's in my news feed. I don't really go to people's profiles to specifically see what they're been up to unless it's a new facebook friend.

But I rarely use Facebook much these days, Tumblr has converted me xD

If I haven't spoken to a friend in a while, I'll go on their profile to see what they've been up to, if anything and if something is wrong, I'll go on their profile to see if they said anything as to why but other then that, I only really read peoples status updates on my news feed and that's it.

When I say "Facebook stalking", I mean I'm on the hunt for gossip, not on a hunt for...well, people. There are times when I check up on people and follow certain drama storylines between friends But I never "stalk" people I don't know, that would be proper stalking.

I have been facebook stalked 3 times lol. All times I was a little creeped out and a little bit amused by some of the funny pick up lines they used X). And yes I have done a mini facebook stalk and one of my ex's. I had a hard time getting over him but now I dont even think about the cheater haha. I think it's normal to stalk an ex but not a stranger.

I don't stalk people I don't know, seeing as I only add people I'm close to. However, I do frequently check up on my girlfriend and a couple of my best friends on facebook. Just because I can.

I have facebook stalked this girl I am completly in love with....it isn't that healthy for me I don't think as I know she is straight and nothing will ever happen so stalking her isn't exactly helping me get over her.....

I haven't been stalked to my knowledge, but I wouldn't care if someone did.

I think the main point of facebook is to stalk I mean reading peoples states, looking at photos and knowing things about people who are in your year at school or club or went to an old school with, but you aren't actually friends friends with them is a bit stalkerish and nosy.....it is part of the excitement of it though and a good way to stay in touch with people.

There is only one person I facebook stalk and he knows it. When he finds new music or new news he usually just posts it on facebook and waits for me to find it. Then I'm like "omg blah blah" and we spend ages talking about it. He does that to me too but I rarely post anything. Plus there is some pretty embarrassing pics he always talks to me about. :P

embarassing story: a guy I used to date recently got engaged, and I've been stalking his fiance like constantly ahaha :S don't worry though, I do know her, and we're fb friends. I don't have my ex on fb though (we decided not to add each other when we broke up because we knew we'd always stalk each other to find out what the other one was up to!) I guess I'm just trying to find out what she's like/what they're like together, as I haven't seen them for agess! It's not because I'm jealous or anything, I guess I'm just bored and it amuses me, and kind of makes me feel like a detective I would never stalk someone I didn't know though! creepy!

I'll look through people's profiles every so often, but I won't return to them repeatedly. More like, I'll check out someone's profile once thoroughly, next time I look at it again will be months later. But then, what are they there for if not to look at?

I hate it when people keep adding me. I have a 'friend' who was really annoying me, and being horrible and starting arguments. I unfriended him, so he added me again. I blocked him so he created a new account and added me. >_>

Not quite certain if I have been Facebook stalked, but I have done my share in stalking :P

If I see an interesting picture on my news feed, I'll click on it, and then end up looking through the whole album (regardless if I'm good friends with the person or not). I have also stalked on my friend's friends, just because I have nothing else better to do.

But honestly, if one doesn't want to be stalked, then he or she should set their settings to private :P

This one guy I hung out with once went through all my albums and liked a whole bunch of pictures and then started liking wall posts I wrote, all my statuses..even the really old ones.. and sent me continuous messages asking me out..and then got his friend to send me messages asking. -.-

Same. Nothing more to be said...the only things that are on my Facebook nowadays are the things that I post on Tumblr which follow through to my FB wall.

When I was into FB, I only "stalked" a few random people who I'd found interesting or peculiar; mainly if I found them particularly attractive and wanted to know if they were single, or if they were strangers who had requested to be my friend. :P But I've long since found out that Facebook is a pretty mediocre source of information about crushes...

I do the occasional FaceBook stalk. Isn't that what it's there for? Why post pictures or comments if you don't want someone to look through them? Some gossip, and some good-looking friend-of-a-friends. Not that I send constant messages to these people, that would be creepy
