iPod or Zune?

Which do you use?
I had an iPod since I was around 10 but I got a Zune yesterday and so far I like it loads better.

I use an iPod (3rd generation nano), and it's only 8GB, but I never really find it very enjoyable to have a music player that has too many features. I've had it for two years now, and probably won't let go of it until it completely breaks. xD For me, all I need is something that holds my music so that I can listen to it on the subway, and I'm happy. :P That, and I can't have a Zune when I'm using a Mac...lol.

I have an Iphone with an Ipod on it. I've always used an ipod though so I don't know which one I'd like better.

I have used zunes but i do prefer Ipods! I have a few a 32gb ipod touch 160gig ipod classic. I have an original ipod that still works haha!

I have had my little Sansa Fuze for a year today. It has been a faithful little 4 GB music device that I take with everywhere. Sure, it may have some wear and tear, and it does have a bit 1 minute freak outs, but my dad had it previously for about 2 years (he didn't really know how to use it) so it's been through a lot.
I'm just really close to my technology.

Yeah I loved my iPod touch, but I just don't care for Apple very much which is why I switched. I just always had bad luck with their customer service and with their iTunes Store. My songs would always freeze while downloading

I'm more of an iPod person. My boyfriend has a Zune and he loves his Zune because he likes the interface/how it works--he has a Zune HD. He doesn't like my iPod because he can't play certain games because his fingers are too big and he isn't familiar with the way it works.
I do love the touch screen and now the cameras on the iPods! With the customer service, it all depends on what you are going in for...I have had no issues at all and I've had Macs all my life, but they aren't for everyone.

I'm an Apple person.
I have an iPhone, 4th generation iPod touch, and a 4th generation iPod nano.
In the past I also had a 2nd generation iPod nano.
I have loved all of them. It gets stuck every so often but it's easily effect and doesn't effect my love for Apple.

My Ipod touch is amazing... But it makes me want to pull my hair out sometimes.
Just because of this weird Time+Date issue. I've tried every thing I could think of but it always goes back to December 31st, 1965. I'm thinking of calling customer service, but it isn't too big of an issue. (I just can't buy apps any more... Or go on Safari... Or Youtube... It's completely okay )
I kind of don't want to though because I would probably get ticked and start nagging at them and my mommy is in customer service and gets nagged at everyday, so I know how crappy it makes their day.
Maybe my mom would be willing to call them...

So . . . what exactly is the point of this thread? Just to tell people you got a new Zune and . . . you like it? Congratulations. Either way, it's proprietary and CorpGov pigs are profiting from it.

I prefer iPod touch my friend has a Zune and it just feels weird.

I forgot to add a poll when creating this thread and I don't think I can add one after- I already tried.
And just because there is no button to click to cast your 'vote' certainly does not make this thread pointless. You can still state your opinion just as others have done.

And how is this pointless without an analysis? Theres no need, I was just wondering what people on Teen Help prefer to use- iPods or Zunes. I only said I had a Zune and liked it because I can say what I prefer too, even if I'm the OP.

Alright, thanks for the explanation.

I was just saying that it would be great if perhaps there was some discussion on why certain devices are preferred over the others.

Personally, I use neither due to their proprietary formats, but I would like to hear from people on why they *do* use such devices.

I had an original Zune, but it broke recently after about 5 years. That thing was huge, but I liked it. It was pretty much a tank, and it went through MANY drops and falls.

I'm using my mom's itouch alot now, but I'm not sure if I'd get one. I'm still deciding what I want to get next.

@kostageas: I imagine people get these things because they don't care about modifying their product. A great majority of us don't care, or have the time to learn about that sort of stuff. People like simplicity, so these devices appeal to them.

I only have an iPod Touch, which was my first iPod too, so I can't say if I would like Zune better.
