http://www.mugglenet.com/app/news/show/4467 Looks like it is going to be an online game where you play through the series. I think there is going to be more to it than that though. You can see in the pictures at hogwarts express there is no house badge but later on there is so I assume you get sorted. There are also some circles places on them like Gringotts and then some with locks on them then in the Chessboard chamber pic they say the Great Hall etc, so I assume you unlock locations as you play. You can also see in the Chessboard Chamber picture that you collect house point throughout the game too. There probably will be a forum and I think it is going to be a huge online community like WoW. |

I agree it would be awesome if it was a game like that. But watch it be a huge dud. I mean, it would be typical, all this hype and then something crappy. But I also love Harry Potter so I'm at least willing to try it.
Hopefully more details will come out to see if people would like it. I went to the website and there wasn't exactly much there but the Rowling video and a couple of boxes that said it would be released in October and you could give them your email address to see when it comes out, you just can't give it to them now because they're so busy. >.>  People help the people, And if you're homesick, give me your hand and I'll hold it. |

Yeah they are picking 1 million people (I think) at random to preview it and join on the 31st July (Harry's Birthday). It is open to the public in October.

You can't sign up properly yet anyway. That is just to register your interest and then you will be put on the mailing list. They will email everyone when they are able to register for the site and a chance to be the first 1 million.

I think it sounds good, I'm imagining a kind of role play thing except you slot your character into the main storyline. It could be good, it could be awful. Sometimes they try to keep things alive for too long...
