Choosing a phone

Hi Guys

Okay, so I'm trying to choose a new phone on contract with vodafone (I can get things slightly cheaper with them because my mum has 4 phones with them so they give us a good deal). Anywho I have no idea whatsoever how to go about choosing one. I'd love an Iphone but it will cost too much unless I get like a 24 month contract which I do NOT want. I'm looking at other things like HTC desire HD, blackberries etc but I'm just really clueless about technology I don't understand half the features they talk on the website so it's hard to know if a phone I look at is good or not.

So yeah, if you have any advise, recommendations of phones or anything whatsoever let me know.. I will be so grateful

Well this should help you think about a few things to figure out what type of phone
-what are you using it for? Are there any special needs that are musts on your phone (email, pictures, music, etc)
-slide out/sideways keyboard or basic QWERTY keyboard?
-touch screen?

things like that should help you figure out what type of phone you are looking at. From there, you can narrow down by brand. I'd recommend figuring out what are needs for this phone so you can find the best fit
