Mac OSX Lion! What are your thoughts?

I know there are alot of mac users on here! So here is my questions

1. Have you upgraded to Lion yet?
- If yes do you think its slower then Snow Leopard?

I dont know it just seems to be slower to me. It could just be me but i would like a second opinion.

Actually, I've found that too. And my battery seems to be draining faster than it used to. Except that I was running Leopard and only installed Snow Leopard right before installing Lion. So I don't know if it's something that happened because of Lion, Snow Leopard, or something else. My laptop is also coming up on three years, so it's getting a bit old which might be part of the problem.

Apart from that though, I do really enjoy Lion. I love my iPod Touch, so I like that they are moving more to that iOS sort of feel. The ability to make everything full-screen so easily is my favourite part of Lion. But I'm really annoyed that my Macbook doesn't support Airdrop (especially since Apple had said that it would and then changed their minds).

I love Lion. I bought my MacBook Pro with Lion installed (along with the Lion keyboard) and I've enjoyed it. My use of Macs running other operating system versions is limited though, so I don't have a lot to compare it to.

If anything it's a little bit faster for me The login time takes longer though.

My new ram gets here today (Upgrading from 4gb's to 8gb's) We will see if that helps. Apple also says they have an update on the way to improve performance.

I've upgraded from Snow Leopard.

I haven't noticed a lot of things slowing down, but I do feel like somethings do take the slightest bit longer to load/do. My battery is starting to drain a bit faster unless I'm doing only simple tasks. For me, login in pretty fast. I played with Firevault as well (gotta love it) and I love how it works now--it asks for your password as the computer boots up.
I feel like my computer is constantly having to use the fan, does anyone else have that?

New ram did help a bit but it is not anywhere near as fast as i remember Snow Leopard being. I think im gona down grade to SL and then upgrade again when they improve performance. Also it does not seem to play games as well as i remember. World Of Warcraft seems to run so much slower.

But i will fix that issue when i build my gaming pc! As much as i hate Windows its the only option if you want to play all the new games. Eventhough more are coming out for mac...
