Guess What!!

Dad FINALLY bought me The Sims 3! So nice of him!
Anyways I downloaded it and played a little yesterday, and I'm just beginning but I find on this game you can't really make your sims good looking like on the Sims 2...and there are way more clothing options and patterns but the clothes aren't quite as satisfactory as the stuff in Sims 2, neither is the furniture. So far I haven't met anyone or got married. LOL. But I did get a job.
Do any of you play it? What do you think of it?

I LOVE sims 3!!! I think it's amazing!!! If I'm honest though, I haven't played on sims 2 for so long so I wouldn't be able to compare it to sims 3, I only play sims 3 these days! I love that you get to pick the personaility traits and that you can be a criminal! The game I'm on at the moment I started with just one man, he's completed his lifetime achievement, got to the top of the cookery career, so I've started him on the Law career I think it was! We've adopted a child who's now finished school and he's got married and the wife is now pregnant! I love it! What job has yours got? I know the cheat to get you unlimited money but with this family I have earnt everything we've got from scratch and it feels great! We've got a massive house that I built, it's really nice!

That sounds awesome! I use the cheat to get money and moved into a beach house. I've just started with one girl, and right now I got that job in the culinary career so she works at the Deli or something...I forget what it's called, the job xD lol.
Anyways, so far I haven't gotten married or met anyone.

I love it and have the Expansion packs (Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, and Generations). I play a lot.

I've become kinda addicted to the game. Sadly, my computer broke and I lost everything on it, so I'm going to have to start all over again. I'd recommend downloading some custom content to fix the clothing problems. I'm probably going to be too lazy to download any when I get my computer back because I went through all that work to get custom content and Sims the first time and now I lost it all. xP I had a LOT of custom content. Maybe I'll just download the stuff my friend makes, I won't have to go hunting that way.

Ah I used to have that game! I ended up modding it in the end. There are dedicated programs for you to make even your own objects and download others! I made a skateboard once for my character and I was so proud You can also have things like music managers so you can play whatever music you like through the sim hi-fi's.
I never had a proper sims game before but I loved it :')
