I've been looking into how to do something I can't go into detail about here because I'm not 100% sure on the legality of it.
But in order to do that, I need to jailbreak my ipod. I checked, this part is legal.
So the best site I've found for that is called jailbreakme and when you access it from your ipod, there's meant to be a button that lets you install it. Except everytime I go on it, there is no button.
Can anyone help me out with this at all? I tried refreshing the page, closing it and going back on again, and it's still not there.

Well, it could be your firmware needs updated. Here they are saying that you have to update to 4.3 or 4.3.1

If you cannot do that or it's too much hassle then use redsn0w instead. It's a different website but still legal and rated well. I hope this helps.

Thanks, Kelly. I tried both of those, as well as Greenpois0n and none of them will work.
Redsn0w kept saying it didn't recognise the IPSW even though it was definitely the right one and Greenpois0n kept getting stuck on DFU mode.
I tried updating my stuff and using jailbreakme and it said that it wasn't supported for my device.

Looks like I'll be giving up on this one now unless there's another way to do it.
