Well...from my experience, I've sat and watched my boyfriend play games that I've heard of but never played etc. When he plays the games, I will ask questions or make suggestions and hope for the best lol. If you enjoy gaming, you could even ask to play with him or have him teach you how to play.
You can also watch a lot of YouTubes about Halo, as suggested go to a Halo wiki page of some sort, or even just Google common terms that you hear to see what it is. Leave the past behind, just walk away When it's over, and the heart break And the cracks begin to show *~*~This little girl was alone in the world~*~* Hold Onto Hope |

My boyfriend played a ton of video games when we first met. I had no interest in Halo. Then one day I was very bored and picked up Halo: Reach once he showed me a Halo Fail video.
Now I'm obsessed and he's not into it. xD I learned A LOT from asking him questions and watching Halo Fail Videos.
So you have gray hair and you're only 26
that's just another reason I love you... ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Games really are pretty cool, Halo is definately one worth playing. People can say what they want, but love it or hate it, it's worth a play through. I would recomend the Halo wiki someone else provided, possibly an episode of Red Versus Blue or two (Google it.) and probably play a level or two, or even mess around in split screen with your boyfriend to get the controls figured out and everything.

Google it.
Wikipedia, Halo Wiki, whatever else is out there.Read the game manuals. If your boyfriend physically owns the games (for example on xbox) and hasn't used a download, he should still have the box with the manual in it. This should give you some backstory and some of the unit names and characters. Watch him while he plays, ask if you can have a go, ask questions, get yourself a copy of the game and play it yourself. The more you interact with something, the more information about it should stick in your head. If you've actually played the game, then you'll have seen the things in action and so you'll be more likely to hold onto the knowledge of what they're called/how they work. Watch youtube videos on it. Fail videos, whatever else there is. |
