Harry Potter!

I've recently given in to some strong urges to play Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on the PS2. I stopped after last time I deliberately went the whole game without going into any classrooms apart from ones I had lessons in. On the last day I went round all the classrooms to open all the chests and get all the wizard cards. Thing is most, if not all, of the chests had already been opened. I hadn't even been on the 4th floor let alone gone into a classroom so there's no way I'd opened them all.
The same thing is happening again. I decided to just go through the rooms when I have time and again, most of the chests are open.
Does anyone know if there's a glitch with the game or something? I don't remember this happening before and I've never had problems with it before now.

It's a glitch with the game. I never played it but I distinctly remember my brother complaining about just this!

I think if you go to these opened boxes again later they'll be closed again :-)
