I read this and I was like, ummm I feel really stupid because I don't actually know. So, I hunted around my computer and I found a sticker and it says "Designed for Windows XP, Windows Vista Capable" So, I assume, Windows XP I just do not do technology

I've heard Vista is more complicated to use, but iv never used vista so i wouldnt now.

I have windows XP with 256MB of RAM and it works like a dream.

The computer downstairs has Vista and has 512MB of RAM. It takes 3 minutes to load a program.

Think of that what you will lol

It means Vista is bloatware . Can't you put XP on it? Or even a Linux distro

O.O You can even BOOT into Vista with 512?! Count that as a miracle in itself, never mind loading a program!

Vista Premium on this PC, Windows Server 2000 on the Servers, Linux on another pc and Mac Leopard OSX, which I don't use ever.

I used Vista for awhile on my [now broken] laptop, and it grew on me once I had an XP skin on it and all the annoying "cool features" disabled.

how did you get windows 7 beta?

And I am running Windows XP. I used to have Vista on the computer and I hated it cuz it is a resource hog so I switched back to trusty Vista. not half as many errors or freezes.

Mines Windows Vista. I was afraid that I'd have troubles with it, since I heard a lot of problems related to Vista but I've had no troubles so far.
