Tablets?

Does anyone out their have a tablet? what one? what do you think of it? I am thinking about getting the Asus Transformer prime whenever taxes come in, but i'm not sure yet between that or a few other things.

My grandmother has a Tablet (I know,

) but I use it a lot. It's very hard to type for me because I have bad joints and typing on a touch screen is very difficult. I don't like how it doesn't have a keyboard. However, if you're into touch screens and you'll have no problem with it, it's fine other than that. I personally just don't like it. I'd rather have my laptop.

I have a Cruz/Android tablet. It works well except it freezes sometimes, and its hard to type on. But i like it.

I have an iPad 2 which I'm currently using. It's the best thing I could of bought I literally stopped using my laptop and only use the iPad. I have my school books in it and take notes in it with a app. I'm literally in love with it.

Awesome, i am want the Asus Transformer prime for multiple reasons, i'm not a big fan of the ipad. I'm not an apple hater just never liked the feel of the ipad when my friend let me use his, its just not customizable enough for me.

Honestly, most of it depends on your preference.

My parents got and iPad 2 that we brought overseas instead of a laptop and that was an amazing choice to make.

Look at what you want in terms of a tablet and compare to what models you are looking into.
Memory/storage space is a big one-how much space do you want to have? 32GB or more?
Graphics-some may not really notice the difference, but others look for that.
Touch technology-honestly, Apple has one of the best versions for touch technology.
Interface-try some different tablets out at a store!
Size/weight
Capabilities/use-what will you be using it for? IE email, web browsing, etc VS watching lots of things, gaming, and what not. Also, if you are bugged about flash on the iPads, theres some great apps that I use to get around that part.
Price-what is your range?

I have an iPad 2. It's kind of like a laptop but... better.

Fair warning though if you're going to watch TV/movies on it you want at least 32GB. I have a 16GB and it's good but I can only hold a couple hours of TV in addition to my apps. I read on it, I use the internet.

Also note, you can buy a pshyical keyboard, at least for the iPad if it were that big of a deal to you.

I have the 1st gen. Ipad and it's great for getting in bed or for when you travel. The battery life is great, and the display is just beautiful.
