Question Modern Warfare 3 - February 1st 2012, 02:40 PM

Slightly pimped up Modern Warfare 2? post your opinions on whether you think its better than the 1st and 2nd one. what do you like about the most recent modern warfare?

I think it is better then the second, though it is VERY much like it, however the first modern warfare is still my favorite by a long shot.

I've not played the 1st one, only the 2nd but I think the 2nd is definitely better because it really is just a slightly changed version of the 2nd one and if I knew this before I bought it, I probably wouldn't have bothered and stuck with Black Ops.

I have the game, but I dont want to play it because I've heard it sucks.

In my opinion, Call Of Duty runs out the same game every time. Eventually, it gets a little old. They're already making a new one called Iron Wolf or Operation Night Wolf or something similar to that.

I'm going to stick to Zombies and Battlefield 3.

Never played the 1st one. Put down all other games when the 2nd one came out. I agree that the new one is just a souped up MW2, but what's wrong with that. The maps are more intricate and, and along with the multiplayer gameplay, make room for all styles of fighting. I like Kill Confirmed a lot, think that was a worthwhile enhancement. I've got Black Ops and Gears 3 waiting for me to return to them when I'm burned out on MW3, but since I haven't been able to play for a month, MW3 is gonna be first in the 360 for awhile.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I find way less cheating in MW3 when compared to MW2 and Black Ops. I know that's a function of the servers and not the quality of the game, but it does make for a more enjoyable online experience... at least in my book.

couldnt agree more on the cheating, on MW3 theirs a callsign thing that looks at all your previous rankings and i went back to MW2 and i cant believe how many players are bouncing off walls!
