How do I put my VOICE on my homepage? -

Hi Everyone!!
 I hope you're having a dandy day! QUESTION: I'm thinking of putting my VOICE on my webpage. AND mabye a little 'play' button on the page so people can choose to hear me - or not. HOW do I do that?! Ok for the this, first of all do you know html? i am guessing you do if you built the web page, and if not then i can help you out if you need me too. You would need to record what you wanted it too say on your computer, using a mic and audacity or anything similar, and then you would need to upload that to the server the site is hosted on, and then you would need to use the html code to place music on the webpage, instead using it to place your voice. Feel free to private message me, if you need me to get more indepth with this.

CanadaCraig, I'll be blunt: Have you considering moving away from homestead.com and host your site on a better web hosting service?
On homestead.com, I don't see PHP; I don't see MySQL. All I see are bare-bone basic templates. This would be fine if you only want a simple landing page. However, CanadaCraig, you have many pages on there, with poll, plus a few message boards. You would be much better off using a CMS (Content Management System) for your site. Everything would be more organized and looking more attractive; plus, your entire site would be easier to navigate. Even if you don't know anything about web development and CMS, we can help here to some extent. Give it a thought!  |
