My room - October 18th 2012, 10:03 PM

I totally want to redo my room. Like something awful. It has a horrible yellow paint and the bedroom suit is from when I was 12. I'm 17 I need something new. I want a futon that I'm sure of. But colors, not so much. So please help!!

Also, I want to know your opinions, is there a point in redecorating when I'm graduating in 6 months?

I'm also graduating in six months, so I've decided not to do anything with my room. If you're going to stay home after graduating then there is a point, but if you're planning on moving out to go to college then I don't think there is because you won't even be living in it.
As for colors, I tend to go towards blues and purples because they're calm colors and look nice with pretty much anything.

And here you are living, despite it all.

I agree with Nicole. I think that if you're basically moving out in 6 months, then it would be better to spend money on something for college instead of your room. Maybe you could decorate your dorm room/apartment at college instead! You might not be able to paint or anything, but you could hang up posters and photographs and brighten it up with a cute new bedspread or rug!

Re: My room - October 21st 2012, 04:56 AM

If I do go away, which I'm planning on, I'm not planning on staying in a dorm unless I have to. But I also don't to really worry about saving money either, it'd be pretty much my parents cause it's what I want for Christmas, and my college is completely paid for and I get pocket money each month from the army because of my dad's retirement.

I'm just confused. I was planning on staying here in summer until I have to leave.
