Impending Style Opportunity - March 2nd 2013, 07:34 PM

Hello.
I really want to improve the way in which I wear my clothes, style my hair and do my make up, next September I start sixth form college, so will be wearing my own clothes as opposed to uniform.
I don't really want to post any pictures of myself, but I'm quite tall, I have long legs and a short torso, I'm large-chested, I have golden-brown hair straight/wavy down to my waist, a heart-shaped face, pale skin, dark blue eyes (with a yellow 'flash' in the middle) and naturally red full lips.

I don't really have a sense of dress, but I love a couple of styles.
- Bohemian
Ever since I was little, I loved dressing in floaty dresses with floral hair accessories when summer came around. I'd love to channel that kind of look into what I wear, however I could never do the whole 'natural makeup' thing.
- 1920s-1940s
No one can deny the glamour from the fashion in these eras, and with some toning down, I think I could incorporate them into day-to-day life: with some help.

I also like to look kind of 'urban' sometimes, with things like dark eye makeup and neutral coloured clothes. I'd like to figure out what kind of clothes would show off (that sounds awful but I'm not sure how else to phrase it) long legs and a large bust.

As my hair is pretty long, I'm looking for advice to do vintage/bohemian things with it. I usually have it all on one side with a center parting, plait it and pin it up on my head or leave it in a ponytail. It's in good(ish) condition and I never straighten it: I'd really love any advice.
I usually wear pretty heavy makeup outside of school, but I'm sure I have lots to learn about what would suit me etc.

I'll probably post some pictures of what I mean later because I know I'm not the most articulate person.
