Still have no fashion sense..PIC HEAVY - May 16th 2013, 11:09 PM

Hey there, everyone! Here I am, posting yet again. So here's my situation...I'm a teen and I have literally no fashion sense. I'm the type of person that wears pajama pants and my boyfriend's hoodie to school, too lazy to do makeup, and wear the same converses every day.
I've never really been comfortable with clothing because I've always been a little bit "thicker" than most girls and never could find clothes that I felt comfortable in. When I do dress up, I feel amazing, but I just don't know how and so I end up constantly looking like a slob or as if I don't care about myself. I've also been told I look angry, mad, etc. I just don't want to be that way at all! I want to project to people that I'm a really nice, happy person who actually wants to socialize...and show that I'm not just an awkard, socially-challenged shy girl who can't relate.

I'm 5'1 and [EDITED] pounds, a [EDITED]DDD bra size, bald-headed so no hair to work with, and I have hazel eyes.

First of all, I have a very happy personality. I love any color except yellow. I live in Iowa, so it gets really hot....uhm, I enjoy makeup:3 I'll add a few pics of myself and some of the outfits I've seen and liked.

Just teach me what will enhance my beauty, how to dress without looking slobby or trashy. I keep it classy, never trashy, and just a little bit nasty. Teach me stores to shop in, clothes to wear, makeup, anything to help me! <3
Thanks so much guys, you're amazing! <3

Me:

ALSO, this is the style I really like. Well, kinda. I live in Iowa and it gets SUPER HOT, so a hot weather version of this type of look would be good. Kinda classy-punk-sassy-skater. Like a mix of preppy and skater. But simple is best....fashion just gets me SO confused. Also, only vegan makeup. I'm vegan, so no animal-tested makeups, no clothes like Uggs with wool, leather, etc.

You catch my drift?
Sorry for all the pics, just trying to help you see my vision. Thanks so much guys! <3 <3 <3

Honestly if that's the style you like, go with it! Rock it!

I just really don't know how to put outfits together :/ That's more what my issue is. I can't visualize an outfit.

Well I like the hair I won't disagree on the outfit though, not a fan of short shorts.

If you find it hard to visualise how the outfits would look, perhaps go shopping and try items on? That way you don't have to imagine, you can just look at yourself in the mirror.

You're gorgeous without make-up, but since you asked for make=up advice, I would say it's best to keep it simpler. Maybe try black liner on your upper lid, and a bright lipstick? My favorite color lipstick for when I do slightly-thick black liner on top is the classic red, but really any color that pops would be cute. One brand that I know doesn't test on animals (and they don't buy ingredients that are animal-tested) is Lush. Their make-up is expensive, and theyre mainly known for their bath products, but they're just the first brand to come to mind. They have information on their testing on their website.
From the pictures of outfits you've given you seem to keep all the "busier" stuff on top and you keep your pants/shorts plain, so just stick with that if that's what you like. In all honesty, wear what YOU want, what makes YOU happy. Forever 21 is a popular store that has a lot of the types of clothes you provided pictures of, and Forever 21 tends to be fairly inexpensive. You asked to be taught how to dress without looking "slobby" or "trashy," but if you think you look okay, and it's someone else who is telling you you look slobby/trashy, ignore them, because in the end it's YOUR opinion that counts!
I'll give yoou some F21 links to clothes you might like
