Where can I get jeans that fit? - January 7th 2010, 12:39 AM

I have long legs, and when I get jeans they usually fit good at the waist and backside but they are a wrong length. And when they are a good length they either are too tight at the top or super baggy. I even have problems with my skinny jeans. I know my weight jumps around a lot too but still. I can never find those perfect jeans! I usually go to Aeropostale for jeans because there's not a lot of shopping options around here. Any suggestions?

American Eagle. They have jeans for tall people, my friend is 5'9 and always gets her jeans there.

Are they usually expensive? Like, for me, $40 is a lot for jeans. But if they are regular and well-made and can hold up to lots of washing I'd consider $30. I know there's an American Eagle in our mall too, I'm not familiar with it though.

Levis or Gap on sale? I try to look in consignment stores for nice jean brands (Jbrand, earnest sewn, etc) but that takes forever. Basically, it's not easy to find thick, well fitting jeans nowadays. I've been wearing these vintage calvin kleins for years and they have outlasted so many new jeans.

You can also check places like H&M (they have lots of different lengths) and Zara, those jeans tend look great, but I hear they don't wear well. I also like cheap monday jeans, if you're tall and leggy, those might look good.

A couple years ago I went to a Levi's outlet, and I got a couple pairs of really good jeans there, that didn't caused barely anything. Going to an outlet mall is always a good idea, because they have a lot of things you can't always find in stores, and the prices are cheaper. I have a super hard time finding jeans that look right on me, but I've found a couple good pairs at JC Penney and Kohls before. It takes a lot of looking and shopping around, but there's the perfect pair of jeans out there somewhere for you.

I don't know the prices of the jeans, but right now there is a huge clarance in the store

I think it's pretty hard to find jeans which really fit so I just suggest you shop around and keep trying them on in different shops. I know it might not help you right away and it probably sounds pretty obvious, but it's worth it when you find those jeans that are made for you!

I agree with Gap. You can usually find some on sale. Old Navy makes a long cut and they are definitely more afforadable, but the quality isn't as good. It might be worth checking out though!
