Yay!! So I finally orderd myself a corset since I've been wanting one for ageeees and since I havn't self harmed for 4 months I thought I deserved a treat
I can't wait for it to come, I'm so excited!!!!
It's black and kind of pin striped
Has full steel boning
steel basks at the front
and comes with proper laces, not stupid crappy ribbons.
Oooh and it includes a modesty panel.

Ive always wanted to buy a proper corset but I never know where to go and when I start looking I either end up at really really expensive places... or corsets that arent 'proper' corsets if you know what I mean.

They only do mail delivery which makes things cheaper. The boned ones are the rubbish ones, it's the steel boned and tight lacing ones you would want ^^

A well mad eone reduces your waist and creates the perfect hourglass figured.
I'm wearing my now and I;ve managed to get my waist down aprox [Edit: No weigh related numbers] inches

Not if done properly, if done way too much and too tight then it can cause a permanent change in where your internal organs are, but if done properly then it's just a temporary change for as long as your wearing the corset.

Ok, I just remember reading about how it made aristocratic women frail and sickly. I would not tighten it as far as it goes, and not wear it for too long. Something more mild, like the spanx style bodythingies would probably have a mild, safer version of the slimming effect though, if you were interested.

I would get a corset for those like underwear-out style things, I think it could be sexy. A corset, some skinny jeans, and a jacket/sweater?

I can wear mine fully laced up, but that's only because I'm use to them and I don't lace it all the way straight away, if I wanna wear one for a night out then I start lacing it at like 10 am and then gradually do it up through out the day.
I love how they look with a pair of skinny jeans, a jacket and some cute heels ^^
But yea, with proper corsets you have to be really careful othewise you will damage yourself. I go by the rule of if it feels uncomfortable, hurts, or I have difficulty breathing deep enough then I have laced it too tight too soon lol.

For all the girls asking where to get them and that they're to expensive, this is where I got mine (And will be getting more if I like it). They do bigger sizes ^_^

Bah, I dunno. I don't like the idea of gradually lacing your organs tighter and tighter and getting "used" to a condition that is not ok naturally. I think if I got a corset, it would be more of a like, sexy bra top, like with some wiring and boning, lace, and.. nothing too constricting.

I guess since I wear heels, a corset can't be too much more unhealthy? I dunno, I dunno. Looks good, though.

I think they look pretty cool (which is wierd cause I'm like. the least fashionable person I know. ever) But I don't know if I personally would ever tighten them at all. Just for looks. lol

I brought mine just because I love what they look like, but the idea of bringing in my waist is an add on, and the fact it'll keep my back nice and straight too.

I got mine through the post today. It's not as long as I'd like. It finishes around the belly button area. Its also awfully fiddly. Although I'm hoping I'll get the hang of it as time goes on...Its a weird feeling not wearing a bra though =/

Just take it slow and you'll figure out what to do ^^
Mine has a modesty pannel and I'm always getting that twisted around the laces and such, it's a real pain trying to get it on properly, and the busks at front can be annoying too...
Lacing yourself in is difficult as well...the door handle is now my best friend
