Just a question for all of you!
I haven't started to wear makeup a lot until recently. Since I haven't bought a lot of it, I can't really say, which is why I'm looking for opinions. Well I use department store makeup,
but i do like to mix it up and use other brands. I get bored with using the same makeup all of the time! I like Maybelline and Revlon the best, personally. |

My favorite- MAC! I loooove it... What I actually use(since I can't afford MAC) is Covergirl and Loreal and this brand Wet N Wild for my like foundation and cover up.

I don't wear makeup anymore but when I did, I liked Clinique, and NARS. Sometimes Dior.
My advice would be to 1. spend money on the skin colored stuff. Things that go on your skin (face) need to be of good quality and perfectly matched (you might want to get fitted for foundation). 2. Look up toxicity ratings for stuff and make sure that you're not buying stuff that's totally horrible for you (you won't know by brand, I assure you...) and 3. Invest in an effective and non-abrasive makeup remover, because you're going to need one to get all the stuff off. I am waylaid by Beauty. Who will walk Between me and the crying of the frogs? Make up is one of the things that's worth spending money on. MAC is good, and has super cool colors.

I really like MAC makeup although that is quite expensive. Normally I go with Maybelline for most of my makeup or occasionally Rimmel

A lot of my make-up is Benefit ... it's expensive but really really good
Other than that I have a fair bit of Rimmel stuff.

I agree with Magic. ... Benefit stuff is REALLY nice. I love their cover up, and their mascara is the only one that really WORKS on my eyelashes since they're so small.

MAC is my favorite for foundation, concealers and powders. Their Studio Fix foundation covers all of my acne blemishes with ease, and doesn't break me out any more than normal.
For liners and mascara I stick with Urban Decay, and the jury's still out on eyeshadow. I have a few MAC colors and I adore them, but they're SO expensive! Two colors cost me $38.

I learnt early on that although you can get really cheap makeup, its not worth it. Paying more means its good quality. (I'm talking around the £8 mark, not the £35 mark...) But yeah. Rimmel London ^_^ Base it on this... Foundation: (Defiantly rimmel london!) - about £8 Powder: around £5 Mascara.... As long as its waterproof, its cool. Just try a few different types and you'll find the one you like Eyeliners- £4+ Blush: £4+ Lippy: £5 (Always cover it with vasaline so it doesn't look like too much, and your lips stay looking gorgeous ^_^ ) If the world is a cold place Make it your business to start some fires Formerly *Rainbow*Love*  |

Its pricey but it is the only eyeliner I have found that doesnt rub off or fade through the day The colors are also veryyy vivid I love them! ~Samantha~
