How do you where your eyeliner?

I've noticed a new trend lately of wearing eyeliner only lining the top of the eye and not around the bottom of the eye (or maybe its not new and I'm just now noticing it hehe). I've always worn my eyeliner lining the bottom of my eye (or sometimes top and bottom), but today switched to trying it only on the top and I kinda like it!

How does everyone else where their eyeliner? It's always been my favorite make-up accessory and am always wanting to try new things.

I only wear my eyeliner on the top eye - I'm really pale and if I wore it on the bottom too I'd look like I had bags under my eyes!!

My friend however wears thick both top and bottom - we're all different :] Just wear it how you like the look of it :]

like the little strip of skin that touches the eyeball

I wear my eyeliner usually on the bottom but above the lashes, like Petey. But if I'm going out I'll do that, as well as liquid eyeliner on the top two. I always feel it looks a bit strange not to have any on the bottom, but I might experiement with it just on the top!

And I only ever wear brown eyeliner because black makes me look all washed out and gross.

I wear eyeliner on the outer 2/3 of my top lids, but none on the bottom. The way my eyes close makes it smear when I wear it on the bottom, so I try to avoid it.

Sometimes I only do like one outer half of the top and bottom or even less than half.

I wear brown eyeliner because its less harsh looking and i only wear it on the bottom on the thin bit above my lashes... except when im going out, when i put some on the top too

I love eye liner!
I use powdered eyeliner on the top lid by the lashes.
Then underneith along the lash line.
I use pencil eyeliner for the water line.

Liquid on the top looks fantastic I think.

I actually love wearing brown eyeliner (pencil) and smudging it so that it's really subtle. I do this on the top and then a little bit on the bottom - at the outside and then smudge inwards.

In general I find wearing black eyeliner on the bottom makes me eyes look smaller so I don't wear much on the bottom and only when I'm going out to partyparty. I just pencil on the bottom or if I want to smudge it because well, liquid doesn't smudge.

With lots of practice!

Start with pencil and then when you've mastered that go onto liquid. Being able to use liquid eyeliner is an art, I swear.

Yup, pretty much. I used to use it all the time a few years ago, but I don't think my hands are steady enough for it anymore. And if you mess up with that stuff, you're screwed haha.

If I'm wearing liquid eye-liner I'll only wear it on the top but if I'm using pencil I'll wear it on both.

Lately I've been wearing mainly liquid since my eyes are looking tired and it seems to brighten them up more and make them bigger when I just put liquid on the top.

pull your eyelid with your finger to the side so the skin is taunt and then applie it in a straight line across the top from the tear duct to the edge of the eye going a bit past the edge; make sure there is no skin between your eyeliner and lashes,

I wear it on the top on the inner part (if you know where I'm talking about) and on the outside part, on the lid. Not too much on the bottom, I don't like the look of a lot there! It wouldn't look great on me anyway, because I'm pretty pale.

I wear it on the top... smooth liquid eyeliner. It looks amazing, once you've mastered the art of applying it.

I read in a beauty mag that you're only supposed to do either the top or the bottom. I sometimes wear liquid on top and kohl on the bottom, it depends where I'm going.

I wear black and sometimes brown liquid eyeliner on My eyelid, never underneath my eyes, because I just end up smearing it across my face. But pencil eyeliner on my waterline around my whole eye.

I always wear black kohl eyeliner. I used to just wear it on the bottom but that made me look a bit dopey, so now I wear it top and bottom, really thick, and blend eye shadow over the top. I don't wear it on that bit of skin though, 'cos it always rubs off for some reason.
