help again pretty please?? - March 20th 2010, 11:20 PM

So as always i'm still pretty rubbish at this whole make up being a girl thingy which saddens me, but it's my birthday in a little over a week and i really really want to be mega girly, because a) it's fun, b) sometimes i forget i'm a girl and c) i have the hots for one of my friends, yes i'm that pathetic

So...I will be wearing a strapless dress which has bows across the back so it's semi backless and hits a little bit above my knee, it's awesome and older than i am. The material is black bas with flowers and the flours are bright pink, pale pink, blue and yellow and of course green leaves....it sounds so horrible discribing it but it's a gorgous dress

make up ideas???

I'd go for a small amount of makeup just a tad of foundation some light blusher, pale eyeshadow, mascara and some lip gloss ^^
Keep it quite natural and let the dress speak for itself.

I would go for any light colored eyeshadow, light blush, and lipgloss.
Foundation is not the healthiest for your face.

Well, I think it's probably the type of foundation used and your skin type. If you go for a certain type it might clog your pores if you have an oily face, but if that's a problem then you go for hypoallergenic foundation, which won't clog pores and is usually oil free.
Just a little foundation will be perfect, and just like Broken one said it's best to go natural and "let the dress speak for itself" Light eyeshadow, a little mascara and just a little blush should do the trick and you'll look really pretty.
