DIY Superhero Costumes - April 7th 2010, 02:43 AM

Hey guys.
So, the theme at the camp I'm working at this summer is "Be A Hero"...and, me and a few other RC's have decided to be a different superhero every week. There are ten weeks...sooo, I need ten superheroes.
Church camp appropriate, and cheap is good...sooo, I'm trying to do things myself where I can.
Any ideas would be great!

Well if the theme is "be a hero" I think it would be a cool idea to go as an alternative to a superhero which everyone expects. I think it would be different to go as everyday heroes

Also since it is a church camp I think this is a really nice idea with a nice message behind it.

Doctor
Nurse
Firefighter
Teacher
Paramedic
Army soldier/other military person
Police officer
Teacher
Parent
Vet

Most of these are fairly cheap and easy to make yourself too.

Just an idea, if you want actual superheroes then just say I should be able to help with that too.

Thanks!
I had thought of a few of those(policeman, firefighter, doctor)...but, those are all solid choices.

I think I've decided on ten finally. One week I'm going to be Rufus from Kim Possible.

Any ideas are still greatly appreciated...
