Hey Peoples of TH. I need some help picking out which Prom dress to wear. I have two of them, a white one and a colourful one. They are pictured below. Please vote.

I really like both of them lol.
My boyfriend said it depends what kinda look your going for. He said go white it youre like angelic and the bright one if your not lol He says he likes em both too    |

The colourful one is super pretty. ^_^ Personally, I'd go with that one. (since the white one seems overly formal for a prom..)

They both look really good on you, but in different ways.
The white one makes you seem kind of innocent and childlike (in a good way), and the colourful one is more casual and makes you seem more... enthusiastic? So, yeah, depends what you're going for, but they're both cool. Nothing in the world is the way it ought to be. It's harsh, and cruel. But that's why there's us - champions. Doesn't matter where we come from, what we've done or suffered, or even if we make a difference. We live as though the world is as it should be, to show it what it can be. |

I LOVE the first one!
Though... I'm a little confused... Shouldn't prom be a little more formal? Just 3 years ago, it was all about full length, mostly ballgowns. -White one, looks too weddingish. -color one looks like my kid threw up fruit loops. lol. I think a nice solid color dress would look good on you, maybe a nice blue or purple, or light yellow. Secondly, I voted for the white dress because I think the shape is more flattering and I think the colourful one looks more of a party dress than a prom dress if you know what I mean?

I picked the first one. I prefer how it looks on you and style of the dress.
I think the colorful one is almost too colorful, it's cute but I don't think it's really prom-like. I personally wouldn't wear any of them, but if you have to choose between either of them, I'd go with the first one. It's way more pretty and the style of it looks a ton better on you. |

I really appreciate everyone's opinion, so thank you. You see, I picked the colourful one out myself (because I look horrid in a gown) and my mum said it looked like a dress I would go to a club in, so we went out searching and got the white one, and I thought it looked too dressy/weddingy.
So I have actually gone with the colourful one. Only because I've gone to three malls looking for a dress that would really suit me, and there wasn't as much variety as I would have liked, but that's alrighty. I love both dresses either way.

I think some people go to prom super formal (My dress this year is full length, but I'm going to end up tripping on it but last year I wore a dress that stopped above my knees) and some people just don't.
I like the colorful one better. But if you don't like sticking out in a crowd, don't wear it, because you probably will. The white does look a bit older-fashioned/wedding style in my opinion.
