How in the world do you use bronzer makeup without looking waay to dark or too orange,? because i have no idea. any tips? i mean ive seen pictures of celebraties and it looks so freaking good and i dont know how to apply it.

You need to get a nice sparkly bronzer. Just bronzer won't do it. Um... When I do my makeup I don't use bronzer anywhere but my neck and forehead. I use a nice blush and apply that on my cheeks and a tiny bit across my nose. You can get lose shimmery eyeshadow and mix it with some blush and that can give you a bronzed look without actually using bronzer. =) I'll post a pic if you want.
Edit: May I recommend some products? I use a line of products called E.L.F and they are SUPER cheap but the best I've EVER tried. You can get them from eyeslipsface.com. Everything is a dollar to like... three dollars. I love the contour one the best.

It's probably the product you are using rather than bad technique. You may need to buy a bronzer that isn't so dark. How i do my bronzer is start on the apples of my cheeks (suck in your lips or smile to make it easier) and go diagonally upwards to my temple and then straight up a bit, if that makes any sense? Also, a very important point is to tap off any excess product on your brush before applying it!!!
