pros and cons of leggings. -

I'm think about getting leggings and then ripping them sideways so ill have that cool effect. Anyways my real question is this will be my first pair and I'm wondering the pros and cons about them and how I should and shouldn't wear them.

I'd advise you to wear them with a long top or dress. There is nothing worse than a girl in leggings, a short top and with the material sagging at her bum

Yeah, leggings can pretty much go with anything. But I agree with Lou. There's nothing worse than seeing all the outlines of a girl wearing leggings with a short top! Try a longish tee or vest, or a dress. Leggings can pretty much be worn with anything!
Now with your idea for the leggings. I'd be a bit careful ripping them incase they rip completely and you lose half a leg! But you can buy pre-ripped leggings which I assume are betterly made than ripping them yourself. So just be careful! |

I agree, don't wear a short top with leggings, just don't! I have quite a few pairs though, you can wear them with a lot of things.

I think they're cute! I also agree with Lou though. Make sure that top or dress covers your bum
 . There was this one girl in my class a while ago who had these white leggings and she didn't wear a long enough top. Needless to say you could see what color her undies were (Not that I wanted to look. xD It was right there in front of me.  )So to avoid that, just wear a longer top or a dress! I'd say that's the only thing to worry about.

Wear with a dress! I dont agree with the long top since i think its like wearing tights and a top... =/

thanks for all the replys. i would never wear a short top with leggings just for the sole reason that i think it makes people look like they are going to exercise. haha
