Angry It's so hard being a girly girl! - May 30th 2010, 06:28 PM

I've always been tomboy-ish, and never really cared about going around smelling all fruity with shiny hair in cute outfits, but now that I've been dating my amazing boyfriend of 4 months it's like something clicked inside of me, now I care a whole lot more and I find myself checking my nails, buying perfumes and fixing my hair a lot more. (he puts no pressure on me to do this, I guess I just do it to feel confident with myself :P) but who knew this was so much work, girly girls out there, is it a lot to do for you too, or am I overreacting? lol

Well if your not use to it, it can be alot of work. But remeber who do you want him to fall in love with you, or your makeup?

Well, that's not really what I meant, I'm not self'absorbed or anything, I'm just taking better care of myself.

I've kinda been girly my whole life, and hells yeah it's a lot to do!! Personally I always try to make an effort, but I do have days where I say "stuff it" and go out without fixing my hair/makeup and baggy old clothes ... It can be fun being girly though, out with girlfriends etc

You can't move mountains by whispering at them.
