I am a muscian but I want to be a girl too - June 30th 2010, 10:30 PM

I am a musician at heart I have a band, i write lyrics and sing when i can i have a guitar and i am teaching myself to play, i am more of the "scene rocker" or so i was told im really not that seen and im a major tomboy how can i dress hardcore/rocker/grunge and still be girly im not exactly skinny either something i cant wear because my body shape doesnt suite for it, im not a fan of skirts but i like leggings suggestions? if i could i WOULD dress like a combination if nikki sixx in my sig below and jacoby shaddix, thats what i like and what im most comfortable in but its not femine obviously :S

The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows.
It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward.
How much you can take, and keep moving forward.
PM me if you need to talk about ANYTHING.

Shorts with leggins, maybe a bright vest top?
Or a light band tee shirt?
Even a skirt with leggins, you could go to a store and try a bunch of clothes on and see what you like?

Oh an accessorise

Accessories are your best friend. Long chain necklaces (like the ones in hot topic) but you don't have to get them from there. Hair bows too! They can be girly and rockerish all at the same time. Just have to find the right ones. I have these ones that I absolutely adore. They could work for you. Except mine are black with white mesh, not pink. http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Acc...ips-179616.jsp
You say you aren't ''skinny'' but don't let make you be afraid. You can pull girly rockerish off no matter what.
Jeans and T-shirts work. Just get girl fitted shirts whether they be the ones with cute funny sayings on them or band t shirts. They can be dark or bright. A girls vest can always pull in a look like that.
Skinny jeans would work the best in my opinion but if you don't like those find a pair suited to your liking.
Flats are a good must as well for the musician rocker girl too.

There is a band called "Shut Up and Dance" there lead singer is female and I think she would be a good person to look at for the type of style you may be looking for. You can find their page on myspace, just by typing Shut Up and Dance into the music search.

Always remember to put your happiness first.
