well as some of you may know im a tomboy and been trying to find my own look, and so far i've got a pretty good idea of what i like im not the most fit person ever so i hardly fit an clothes in nice department stores but i been getting active lately and my legs have muscled up more than being fattened up lol and i am starting to get toned arms however my belly hasn't change, so on another note im extremely excited to get my hair cut but another thing i think of every once in a while is like painting my nails... mostly black, dark green, maybe a dark or royal blue maybe, dark purple so basically dark cool colors...but i tend to bite the skin around my nails since i've stop biting the actual nail...and i always got gross out by the idea and when girls sit there in class picking at their nail polish....im not sure what my question is but is it really so bad is there other tomboys on this site who felt like this before you started painting your nails? should u not paint your nails if you bite the skin around them? i also just feel like i'll be judge for it by some stupid reason, or even that i will draw too much attention to myself by doing this..

Well, eating nail polish is not good for you. Question, have you ever tried the bitter stuff meant to stop you from biting nails? Perhaps try it if you haven't yet.

Well you can put the clear anti-bite stuff on around your nails too, I'd think.
