 I did them sparkly purple last night.What are your favorite colors/styles to do? Know any tips or tricks? How about easy designs? Share them here! I personally like those really thin brush polishes, perfect for little designs. |

I generally just paint my black.
But I also love red. and anything sparkly. My favourite is to do silver nail polish and then the new shatter nail polish by Katy Perry over it. If you haven't heard of it you should check it out, it's very cool! A pink colour right now. I do mine every few days. I love painted nails.
I always have an ear bud thing so that if the nail varnish goes over the edge of my nails, i dip it in the remover and wipe it up to stop it drying and staining

I rarely paint my nails. I don't think I can pull it off.
But when I do, it's darker colors like dark green, navy blue, etc.

I paint mine a lot. I tend to just let it get all over my skin and it comes off in the shower/when I wash my hands.
If I'm really impatient I'll have them dry in ice water or I use 60 second polish

My nails are rarely not painted! I think it's a great way to go a bit crazy without going overboard! I usually wear conservative black-white-grey clothes, so my nails are usually bright eye-popping colours (:
My last few colour choices have been within the thematic choice of 'Spring' (SO LONG CANADIAN WINTERRRRRRR@!!!!!). Lemon yellow, honeydew green (people commented, calling it Shrek, wasabi, fungus.....), pastel pink, pastel blue, and I'm back to pink right now! (: This is a picture of my friends & me at a local cafe (: We're all excited for spring... hehehe

I paint my nails often (: Like someone mentioned before... there is rarely a time where my nails aren't painted
I pair them so I don't bite my nails A majority of the nailpolish I own is red and pink. Different shades of course. Right now, I just painted my nails salmon with a shimmery top coat ;D Besides reds and pinks I have a few blue, purple, couple of oranges, some green, gray/silver.... My tip: Practice makes perfect. When I first started painting my nails my hand was all shaky and the nailpolish would get everywhere But now I rarely have to clean up (:

I like french tips a lot. But for plain colors I usually do black or pink. I'm pretty boring with my nail colors

I just painted my nails for the first time in years.
 I put the OPI Shatter over some kelly green and I've gotten loads of compliments.

I'm trying to keep mine painted a lot so I don't pick at them as much so I can hopefully get a manicure, I've always wanted one but my nails are always too short. |
