Festivals :) -
April 20th 2011, 05:29 PM
This year I'm going to a few music festivals and I really want to get some nice clothing for them-yes I know festivals, nice clothes, bad idea, but I'm not planning on mud wrestling...-I was hoping if anyone new any nice shops for festival clothes(Uk). I find that shops like Topshop aren't ideal. I'm looking for some nice sunny dresses and skirts and what not.
Also, If anyone knows where to find a decent sized handbag that goes across the body. I'm hoping that it could fit: a water bottle, camera, purse, maybe a cardigan, my mobile phone and perfume, but not be outrageously big. I don't want anyone to find these specific items for me just shops that would sell these Preferably at cheaper prices, I don't want to be spending £30 on a dress I'll possibly only wear once... ![]() "When you are in Love you can't fall asleep because reality is better than your dreams." |

You live in Scotland, so I'm gonna assume T in the Park is one of those festivals
I would suggest hoodies are good for that since the chance of rain is always high. I would recommend Pulp in Glasgow (St Enoch mall) for some colorful stuff.I'm also a fan of River Island stuff, but that's a bit of an obvious answer. I saw they were doing a "festival kit" which I think was a bit tongue in cheek, but it might suggest they'll get a festival range of clothes in as well. |

If you want cheap things then I would say primark or you could try somewhere like new look

I went to a few festivals last year, and I basically lived in my doc martens or wellies, then just wore some shorts from h&m and lots of over sized shirts I found from charity and second hand shops :P
I also have a jumpsuit - and to be honest I'm not overly a fan of them and don't suit them really, but this was just a simple one with shorts rather than the longer leg designs. Then I just jazzed it up with bangles and other jewelry It was comfy and easy to wear, and nice when the weather was hotter.I love festival fashion, because everyone honestly wears what they want, and basically doesn't care about what anyone else wears. You get such a wide variety of ages and people, it's lovely. I go to a lot of charity and second hand shops in my local area (I love the vintage sort of look any way) and then got some over-sized jumpers and cardigans for when it was colder, and they're great to sling over whatever you're wearing. Also, maybe try asos? I love them to pieces, as they do a wide range of clothing at different prices. Oh gosh I'm rambling so much haha I'll stop :P I love festivals! Hope you have a lovely time! |

Thank you that was A LOT of help! I love festivals too! Best part of the year I'd say haha
Yes, I tried a playsuit last year but found going to the toilet difficult.. Charity shops is an excellent idea! I will have to go on a hunt
