Vichy Dermablend. Best. Shit. Ever.

"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it.
I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote,
“Dear Jim: I loved your card.”
Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.”
That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything.
He saw it, he loved it, he ate it."

I use Me Me Me 3 in 1 concealor

Not sure if available in the US though, I assume it is. I know ELF do some pretty good stuff and it's not too expensive so I'd say have a look on their website

Ooo I have the Elf concealer! It's only $1 and it does work very well which surprised me since it was so cheap!

Ummm.. I can't think of the name right off hand, but Sephora makes one that is fantastic..no joke.. It's in one of those little tube thingys and you twist the end for it to come out, and you kind of brush it on. I LOVE it. It covers everything!

If you can afford to go a bit higher-priced, DermaBlend makes great concealers (originally meant for covering tattoos). It can be a bit drying to my skin, so don't use it if you have drier skin. I also LOVE Benefit's Boi-ing concealer. It's really creamy and smooth and works great for my dry-ish skin.

If you're really wanting to stick to drugstore, I've liked this stuff in the past: http://www.covergirl.com/beauty-prod...ooth-concealer

Anything by Neutrogena and Almay is also wonderful.

I won't lie to you, though-- I've had a lot better success with more high-end concealers than drugstore ones (and I don't say that about hardly any products).

Re: Concealer - June 18th 2011, 06:28 AM

i have been searching for the perfect concealer for a long time. for myself i have found that drug store concealers tend to fade after a couple hours. before you purchase you want to think about where you want to wear your concealer. for the under eye area you want to use something light weight and a shade lighter than your skin tone. if your purchasing the concealer for blemishes and scars you can go with almost anything. however, i find that solid or non-liquid concealers tend to have more coverage and last longer.

for me i have found that mac studio finish works great for blemishes. for under my eyes i go with mac studio sculpt and if i'm extra tired i add yves saint laurent touche eclat to brighten. to set my concealer i use benefit's powderflage. i would consider all of those higher-end cosmetic brands. if i were to choose my favorite drug store concealer it would be hard candy nobody's perfect concealer palette for $6 at wal-mart. good luck!

Oh I really hope that picture works, but the Maybelline Dream Smooth concealer is AMAZING. I use that, then powder and don't have to fix it all day. And it doesn't look fake or crusty. I love it <3

Okay the picture didn't work..but it's awesome(:!
