Bally hoody. - July 17th 2011, 12:15 PM

I bought a hoody a few weeks ago and I love it and have been wearing it quite a lot but it's going 'bally' for lack of a better term, as in there is little balls on it, sort of like fabric if that makes sense? Anyway, my friend told me to buy one of those sticky roller things and I've been using it but it doesn't seem to be doing anything, it's not changed how it is and considering it's most of the hoody that's like this, it'd take forever to do it all.

Does anyone have any other suggestions to stop this? I've considered putting it in the wash and hoping that'll fix it but that's just something I was hoping would work, I have no idea whether or not it actually does work.

The balls are created from friction/movement Putting it in the wash will make it worse, when you do wash it, you should wash it inside-out. You can get a gadget to remove it, they kinda look like cheese graters, and I think they're called pilling removers or fabric shavers
