Uh... trousers and t-shirts and sneakers were and one time considered to be boy's only clothes. Now girls can wear all of these things....
If you wear clothes designed for guys that's a bit different because it'll probably be difficult to find something that fits. As for the message it sends, at best nothing, at absolute worst jock/butch/dyke. |

It really depends on how you wear it and how it fits. I couldn't care less about how other people dress but one thing I will say is that fitted clothing tends to get you better attention than if you were to wear baggy, ill-fitting clothing. As long as you feel good in what you wear and think that you look good, that confidence will show through. That is what people notice- not what brand your jeans are. :)

One good thing about guy's jeans is the pockets are bigger

Now on the opposite end of this question, What if it was guys wearing girls clothing?
I mean that would be sending off a different message then girls wearing guys clothing. And my opinion on the OP's question is that I usually dont see much difference in what they wear.

Personally, it's not for me. But if you can pull it off, go for it.
"Once a little boy sent me a charming card with a little drawing on it. I loved it. I sent him a card and I drew a picture of a Wild Thing on it. I wrote, “Dear Jim: I loved your card.” Then I got a letter back from his mother and she said, “Jim loved your card so much he ate it.” That to me was one of the highest compliments I’ve ever received. He didn’t care that it was an original Maurice Sendak drawing or anything. He saw it, he loved it, he ate it." |

If you are comfortable in boy's clothes, then I don't see the big deal.
I often buy mens' T-shirts simply because I want a T-shirt, not a flimsy, clingy piece of material that people can see my breasts through.

I don't like guy jeans because they don't fit well on me, but i'm okay with guy shirts. If you like them, I don't see a problem with it.

This right here ^^^
But otherwise, it's how you feel. I like wearing guys pants sometimes, just because they're comfy and not overly tight everywhere. Even guys skinny jeans, they're loose but still not loose? if that makes sense. I tend to wear tight shirts though, so I guess it works a bit better for me than wearing big shirts too. I've never gotten any problems for wearing guys pants. "Although only breath, words which I command are immortal." Sappho

I wear guys hoodies all the time because they're more comfy and way bigger.
But jeans... only if they fit properly and aren't baggy and half way down your bum... because I think that sends out the wrong signals. I personally don't like seeing girls and women blatantly dressed in mens clothing. <3 |

I like it, it represents that we are not repressed and how brave you are to actually break the 'gender rules' and what not. I do, they are cheaper and sometimes more comfortable than girls. Being called a lesbian though is not the worse thing to me (i am one) and if people do (and your not) well they label you in a stupid way

It's how you feel. I don't mind if someone wear's a guy's clothes, but I try to stick with girl's jeans, anyway. I'm in one of those sizes where the jeans are slightly too big but if I go a size down they'll be too small. xD I'd probably even have more problems with dude's jeans. I do wear shirts/hoodies/things like that that are meant for guys, though.

If you want to do it, go for it.
I for one love guy hoodies and sweat pants. They're super comfy! I do hip hop, so I wear guy sweats for that. Blackbird singing in the dead of night Take these broken wings and learn to fly. All your life You were only waiting for this moment to arise. ♥the Beatles ![]() Tumblr |

Well I have "boyfriend" clothes which are boysish but feminine. I also own chinos, again boys, but feminine cut.
But actual boy's clothing... no I don't think so. I'm really lady like I might wear a (future) boyfriend's hoodi or jumper as in England we do that as a sign of affection (it also smells of his Lynx (AXE TO ALL YOU OTHERS )) Which is amazing ![]() But I wouldn't just buy guy's clothes unless it was fasionable at the time to wear that kind of thing. |
