Homecoming on SATURDAY!!!!! -

AHHH! I don't know what to wear to homecoming! I have two dresses. One is midnight blue dress that ends a few inches above my knees and has an empire waist thing going on. It is more elegant than the other dress. The other dress is also empire waisted but with a black bubble skirt, it is also shorter than the other one by a good few inches. I don't know which one to wear because I don't want to be dressed more formally than everyone else. The dance was billed as "semi-formal." Please give me your opinon. Any advice is appreciated.

Hmm not sure. Its hard to tell without actually seeing the dresses but if I were you I would see what your friends are wearing. If their outfits are really dressy and you go dressy at least you won't be the only one. Or you could do the nicer dress and dress it down with some casual jewelry and makeup. Does one of them complement your figure better? That's something you'll want to take into consideration.

Does your school have a theme?
Really I would just go with the dress you like the best. You can really wear either, I actually wore a black bubble dress to my homecoming last weekend. Both dresses are suitable for homecomings

I would definitely wear the shorter one to homecoming. I've seen Facebook pictures of homecomings from schools around me and there are lots of people who wear dresses like that.

I personally favor blue over most colors, but they both sound pretty.
I think it's cool most schools dress for homecoming. My school district didn't do that unless you were nominated for something. Like, there was a dance, but it wasn't anything special to dress up for like formal or prom. |
