Hollister Co - October 31st 2011, 09:54 AM

So new Hollister in my shopping centre. Never been to one as there's not one for ages (London I think was the closest and I'm near Brighton)

So it was really eye catching. The outside looked so cool, like a porch and stuff so I went in...

ASFGLSCH I CANT SEE! But it smelt amazing, like candles and perfume and there were all the ocean things on big screens (which were live californian seas or something) and there where magazines, and awesome seating areas to just chill.
I didn't buy anything, new shop, so busy, I could not reach the rails but the clothes looked a bit samey TBH. But it was a very nice store!

So wahat is you opnion of Hollister? Americans, it's the sister company of AB&Fitch

xx

That store always overwhelms me with the perfume I don't shop there too often because their clothes are very similar to other stores such as AB&Fitch. I do like how they design their stores however, and I love those monitors with the live cameras of California.

I like hollister. The stores are pretty neat and beachy feeling, but the purfume smell can get overwhelming. I like some of their clothes, I'm in love with the jeans and hoodies. But some things can be outrageously overpriced. My store always has a huge clearance section though; I usually on buy the things on sale.

There are many Hollister where I live But I agree with you guys, I enjoy the smell but it can get really overwhelming. I hear they pay someone to go around and spray everything so many times a day! & I do like they're set up.
I rarely go into Hollister though, as Kady said... they're crazily overpriced!

The mall by my house has a Hollister, Abercrombie, & Abercrombie & Fitch so it's filled with perfume. I used to wear their stuff in high school, but not so much now unless it's something I borrow from my sister. Even then, you can only tell the brand by the little bird.

Not a fan. Too expensive for the quality being only decent. Plus the advertising is absolutely ridiculous. But I have no judgment for those who wear it, it's not just for me. I'm too cheap and sensitive to corporate weirdness.

I think it's way too expensive. You'd think with all the money they save on electric bills, they'd be able to lower the prices of their clothes a bit but the clothes are really nice, it's just I wouldn't want to spend the prices they charge for them. The perfume is nice as well, just wish they had more lighting!

I might buy something. I've seen the checkered skirts with the little eagle on people. How much are they.

I also want to point out, it's dark, no cameras and apparently loud music... shoplifter heaven? I wonder how many items go missing every day

The perfume bugs me, but I like their jeans.

I honestly hate that store. Over priced, the clothes are skimpy, and I honestly rather not advertise for them, with everything I wear. I'm not fond of wearing their logo.

Not sure why people like the store so much. Also, you can only work there if you are good looking.

Hollister = Hate
Over priced, not that nice, rubbish quality, don't wash well, looks like everything else, embaressing when you go out in the same thing as others, paying to advertise them and the darkness is horrible, you can't tell what colour things are!
Never seen dead in their stuff!

I've shopped at Hollister before. There's a pretty big one in the mall I go to. I've actually bought some pretty cheap stuff there. (under $20) My sister also has a really comfortable hoodie from there.

I think the clothes can be nice. It really depends on what dress style you have, hollister is right up my street, but I didn't see (oh the irony) anything that caught my eye this time
