Babysit. It's easy, fun, and really good money. You can offer for neighbors, cousins, friends or just put up a poster advertising. If it's the winter, shovel snow. If it's the summer, mow lawns. They may seem like not that much, but if you do it enough they money definately adds up.

Since you're 18, you may be able to donate to sperm banks. Not sure how it is over there, but I think you can get paid up to $100 dollars per donation up to a couple times a week (don't quote me on that, I may be over/under estimating). I've heard of alot of college students making extra cash that way.

Ok there is apparently a recession and everyone is complaining there are no jobs but there are. You just have to look. I have been looking for a job since I turned 16 and never got anything but this year during the recession I got one. It is only temporary over Christmas but I have worked from November and I finish next week, I have only been doing 8 hours a week with a few bits of overtime and in total I should earn nearly £500. I know nobody really wants to work in fast food but McDonalds etc is ALWAYS hiring and they pay over minimum wage, if you only need a few hundred pounds then a few months work there is enough then you can quit. Honestly if you need a job so badly then you have to keep looking you can't expect a job to just fall into your lap. |

Yeahh when I was jobless I was looking for something.. anything earn me money, but other than get a job, unless your really good at website design, have rich relatives, or can provide a valuable service, a job is your best bet...
I'm actually 'part time' in fast food and love the work and in 2 weeks; if I was cut out for the hours I could earn £600... I put off getting a job for ages, handed out leaflets offering a gardening service, tried starting small with websites with ads, but nothings going to get you the income like a proper job... Rachels right, try fast food, stick at it a while, and you will earn
How can one love themselves, when they love absolutely nothing? Do something that is interesting. If it is not interesting, find out why it is not interesting. |

too bad you live in england, i couldnt get a job, so i started my own business - fence painting. that eventually lead to house painting as well, and full out gardening (lawn mowing, weed pulling, installing ponds, etc).
try starting your own business? get some other jobless friends together and teach yourselves how to paint via google. works wonders. just do whimis tests for your employees every once in a while, as well as doing on-the-job training (so everyone knows how to do their job properly and safely). Urm you can work for events companies that supply waiting / bar / kiosk staff to places like Wembley stadium etc at gigs. I've done it a few times as a way of making some quick money. I'm not gonna promote who I work for, but there's loads of places that do it and they pretty much take anyone regardless of experience. It's paid above minimum wage (but not hugely above) but the shifts all add up ... I did two 8 hour shifts in the summer and earned £90, and the works not hard.
I'd also back the fast food route ... my ex earned loads working in McDonalds. Good luck!

You can shovel driveways when it snows, you'll make enough that way especially if you own a snow-blower.
Also the sperm Bank idea is something else you could try. ![]() Good Luck. |
