is it possible i could get a mortgage -

hey,
atm i'm 18 and my boyfriend is 19. he is an apprentice electian and i work at a cattery. currently we both ear £800 a month but when my boyfriend qualifies he will be earning around £20k plus a year. we are saving up and aim to have about 20 grand saved up at least before we buy somewhere. we wanna try and move in together by the time i am 24. but people keep saying it will be impossible that we would never get a mortgage and things which is just making me feel negative. is it possible that i will be able to get a mortgage in a few years cos people say we will never be able to get one. what do you reckon or what advice can you give me. thanks becca <3

My best advice is talk to someone at your local bank about it. They might have financial advisors or something of the sort who can help you.

No idea what the laws are in Britain. In the US, I'm pretty sure no, not until you're 21, though sadly I'm not even completely sure about that. xD
I would talk to the bank, Megan is probably right.
