So my job at a day Care is like 20$ a week plus the money I saved for college but my apartment bills are like more that my pay check I don't have enough for college or any in fact because that's my rent now and I only have 20$ for food -__- I already know I need a new job or a second one since I'm not In school. Just throwing this in is it legal to make your child graduate early then kick them out and find there own way at 17 doesn't seem like it I am getting by but any tips on saving money so I could go to school it will be well appreciated anythig is welcome at this point

Just keep moving forward no matter the obsicule if its big or small you can do it you just need to believe

no it is not legal to kick someone out at 17 unless they sign the right paper work that releases them from your care. As for saving money if you need to you can look for scholarships, also you could check into to government assistance for rent ECT until you could get on your feet and then get off.

$20 a week? Sounds like less than minimum wage. The federal minimum wage in the US as of 2009 is $7.25 per hour, some states have higher minimum wage requirements. If they are a legitimate licensed business they should be paying you that much or more, regardless of how old or young you are.

FlyingTrue... It all depends on how many hours she is working.

But if you are working more than two hours a week and only getting 20 then you need to talk to them about it. Because being paid less then minimum wage is illegal. They can get into a lot of trouble.

As far as parents kicking you out if you are under 18 regardless of if you are still in school I believe is illegal unless like stated before you have signed permission. Or if you have entered college and live on campus.

As far as college I would look for scholarships and look into financial aid. Financial aid has helped me sooo much, without it I would not be able to go to school. You can go to whatever school you are interested in and ask about scholarships and financial aid.

Always remember to put your happiness first.

You aren't going to be able to save for college unless you get your expenses to a minimum and increase your income ( either a new job or 2nd job). To make sure that you are spending your money wisely, learn to budget. Try mint.com or YNAB.
