Hairstyles for prom? - April 28th 2013, 07:08 PM

I'm going to prom on May 6th and my hairdresser asked if I had any idea what I want to do with my hair for prom. I have absolutely no clue and she needs to know so she can have a reference.

I'm putting in a picture of what I look like, complete with the dress I'm wearing. I didn't want to post the dress but if I'm getting hairstyle advice I guess I need to. Excuse the really crappy expression on my face and the size of the photo since I'm not always the most photogenic, but what type of hairstyles would look good on me for prom? I'd appreciate pictures so I can see them.

If it helps, I'm getting my hair cut before prom and I'm getting lots of blonde highlights in it. Normally when I get these highlights I look like a total blonde rather than a brunette.

You would think I would of looked at lots of hairstyles as my grad prom is in June, but I haven't lol. Dez, your dress is absolutely beautiful. I think your hair should be down, but that's just me. It might also look nice up in some style of a bun. I remember my friends use to go on google and just look up images of hairstyles for prom. Maybe that will help you.
I think no matter what you decide to do, you will look amazing and beautiful as always. : )

Oh darn I made a typo and didn't even realise. May 10th is prom, not the 6th.
It probably will be left down. It'll be too short and soft to put up.

You could try putting it in a half ponytail and then putting a pretty clip on it over the hair tie. Hopefully that made sense.
It won't require you to have long hair (it's probably what I'm doing!) and it can look really pretty but it's easy to do.

And here you are living, despite it all.
