Help me choose a new hair color! - August 1st 2009, 08:43 PM

Okay so I'm kind of thinking I want to try a new hair color. The first two pictures are of me; the rest are colors I'm considering.

Picture 1- taken in September. Basically my natural color, but with highlights (hard to see in this picture)... it's the same now, except I have a fair amount of roots. My skin tone isn't really as pink as it looks in the picture. Note that my hair is NOT naturally this straight- it's a little wavy.

Picture 2- light blonde

Picture 3- red... it would be a pretty drastic change!

Picture 4- auburn- not quite as intense as the red

Picture 5- black- I am afraid it might wash me out, but I'm not sure

So, TH-ers... any thoughts? Which of these colors do you think would work for me? Are there any other colors I should consider?

I definitely wouldn't go for the black. The blonde would be nice, but if you want a completely different look then I'd go for the auburn, I think that would look really nice

out of the pictures you've posted, i like the auburn or the blonde. i wouldn't go for bright red and i definitely wouldn't go for black.

Hmmm, personally I think you should go for the auburn. I think it would look nice and be a change; not too drastic of a change though

Black might well wash you out, as you say. Auburn might also be better because if you go lighter you need to use a dye with peroxide, whereas if you go darker you don't so its not so bad for your hair =] xx

I think your hair colour is nice as it is.

i think that would be cute on you(=
definitely.
