Curly hair!

So I have type 3B hair, and for those who don't know what that is..

It's curly and coarse, but only when I leave it curl. When I straighten it it's soft and shiny. Only problem is, it doesn't stay straight! It poofs and the ends flip. But I want it to be pin straight and pretty Tips?

• After hair straightening is done, you must apply hair spray to keep the hair straight for a long time.
• Once the hair straightening is done by using hair iron, you can apply straightening serum or a heat protecting spray. This will help you keep your hair straight anywhere between two to four days. After washing your hair, you may need to repeat the same process.
• You must not brush your hair too regularly, as this would make your hair greasy.
• Buy the shampoos and conditioner meant for getting straight hair.
• While drying wet hair, avoid drying it upwards as this adds to excess volume.
• Avoid tying your hair for a loner duration, as this would create a twist, which would destroy the straight look.

While my hair isn't as curly as yours, I do find that I have problems keeping it straight so when I do straighten it, I comb some serum into it before straightening/blow-drying (when my hair is still damp) and then after straightening, I tend to spritz some anti-frizzing hairspray into my hair. I used to have this really good one years ago, but I've forgotten its name . Sea-salt spray or anything by John Frieda is good.

His weather-proofing style sealant creme (found here: http://www.johnfrieda.com/products/p...z_ease&pid=102) and straight fixation smoothing creme (found here: http://www.johnfrieda.com/products/p...z_ease&pid=122) would be helpful.

If you aren't able to find his products in your area, you'll be able to find similar products at your local salon (if you're looking for quality). I just use Tresseme's Straightening Gel sometimes (http://www.tresemme.com/heat/product...ening-gel.aspx).

Remember to use a heat-protectant to keep your hair from being damaged. And I think they help keep your hair straighter for a little longer.

I have the same problem.

Okay. So, I usually don't wash my hair everyday in the shower. Just because it makes my hair really dried out. I leave it curly one day (the day I wash it) and then straighten in the next day (the day I didn't wash it) .. I find that it straightens a lot better that way, and STAYS straight.

I find that too, only problem, my hair gets greasy when I do that xD
