Dry Shampoo? - May 12th 2010, 02:10 AM

Have any of you ever used dry shampoo? What's the deal with it?

Not that great. It weighed down my hair, made it really static when I brushed it. I'm pretty sure It's just spray baby powder that dries up the oil in your hair. You can try it though, It might work for you.

Tresemme JUST released their line of dry products.

Ughhh. Ok, here's the deal. I live in a mobile home park, so we have well water. They put chlorox in the water to disinfect it and whatnot, and they must be putting more in the water because it's starting to bleach my hair and ruin it. So now I'm like afraid to wash my hair at my house

Oh man, well in that case, I would use baby powder or dry shampoo. Is there anyway you can get a filter for the water and then use that from the fridge? That's bad! I really don't know what info to give you about that.

I'm a student, I work unsociable hours, and have to get up early for lectures sooooo I often find that I don't have time to wash my hair as much as it needs so I am a fan of the olde dry shampoo. You have to be careful though because it can make your hair look grey. Other than that, I think it's a pretty good invention. Talcum powder works the same as well.

I've never used it but my girlfriend has it she's seemed to like it. I guess it depends for everyone.

I don't really think you can live off dry shampoo. It's just for quick touch ups for when you don't have the time to wash your hair. It just dries up all the grease so your hair looks okay for the day.

I've used it before and quite a few of my friends use it. It works if you don't have time to wash it but it does leaves your hair looking grey. :/ I have blonde hair so you can't tell as much but on some of my friends who use it who have darker hair it's more obvious.

I have used it before and I still do sometimes. I use this dry shampoo. I find it to be really handy if you haven't got the time to wash your hair, and it's looking a bit greasy.

Yeah, I'm not planning on using it every day, just sometimes so I don't have to wash my hair every single day and get my hair ruined and bleached.

I bought the Tresseme dry shampoo today, and I'll probably be using it tomorrow. I'll let you guys know if it's any good.
