I want my hair like this - July 30th 2010, 05:37 PM

Problem is right now I have a full fringe (bangs) How would I be able to grow it to the side (for it to be cut that way) without it looking a bit stupid?

you can always clip your fringe back while you're growing it out a bit. it's not too long of a side fringe so shouldn't take too long to grow out. then get your hairdresser to cut it that way so it sits nicely and move your parting if necessary.

..and our dreams will break the boundaries of our fears..

It's cute, natural. You can do lots with it =) No going wrong with it.

Re: I want my hair like this - July 30th 2010, 06:14 PM

That is pretty much how my hair is.
I had a full fringe. I hadn't been to the hairdressers for a while and my fringe got really long to the point where I had to brush it over to the side to see and then I really liked it as a sort of side fringe and asked to get it cut like that. I had to move my part from a center part to a side part.

I always felt uncomfortable without a fringe so I wouldn't clip it back but brushing it to the side seemed to work. It doesn't need to be too long to be cut like that anyway.

I actually just got back from the hairdressers so my hair really does look like that as it has just been cut, my layers are a little softer though, I will post a picture later.
