I neeeeed your input. :3 - September 13th 2010, 01:54 AM

So, I'm getting my hair dyed, not cut, next thursday, and I have NO idea what colour I want to go.
I'm currently going through a bad phase, so I want to dye it darker almost black (which I'm afriad I might regret.)
Should I go a solid colour and/or get lowlights&highlights?
And if so, which colours?
Thank youu. (:

I know this is a terrible picture LOL, but this is what my hair looks like, it's a bob. So it's a little shorter in the back.

I think, with the style, either a very dark, very light, or very vibrant would work. Like, a bright red, very light blonde, or dark brown/black. But, I think a red would be best suiting for you.

If you want to go dark. I would suggest a deep sultry red color. I think it would look amazing on you!

I wouldn't suggest going too dark because it'll be a pain in the backside to go light again. Some lighter highlights might look lovely on you, or like someone said, go red! That would be lovely

Good luck!

to be honest, any color would look good on you.
if you want to be funky, you could always just get a color underneath your hair(like i have.) it looks really good. dark brown, or a dark reddish color, would look good too. anything, really. just keep in thought about going back to your regular color, and how the roots would look growing out.

DONEE. :3 I got a chestnut base, with lowlights & hightlights & red streaks like you suggested. I asked for my bangs to be red. When I asked if I could go all over red; she said it'd make my face more pink.. ewwh. ): But thank you everyone for giving me your opinions. Thread can be closed.
Much love,
Mikey.
